Make the path easier to see.
Support that feels practical, cultural, and human.
Raíces exists to empower, support, and uplift Latino youth as they navigate education, career decisions, community, and the transition into adulthood in Canada.
Information is everywhere. Clear guidance is not.
For many first- and second-generation families, post-secondary systems can feel unfamiliar. Raíces helps make the language, choices, timelines, and possibilities easier to understand.
Belonging
Young people deserve spaces where their culture, questions, and experiences are understood rather than treated as an afterthought.
Access
Useful information should be easier to find, understand, and act on, especially when decisions carry long-term consequences.
Representation
Seeing professionals, mentors, and graduates with shared experiences can make future possibilities feel more real.
Our mission shows up in the small moments.
A question becomes clearer.
A student learns what a program actually involves or what a deadline really means.
A person becomes reachable.
A mentor or professional turns an abstract career into a human story.
A next step becomes possible.
That clarity turns into an application, conversation, workshop, job, or new direction.
